Random Thoughts from listening to the State of the Union Address

President Barack Obama gave his first State of the union Address on Wednesday, January 27th, 2010.  Here are some of my random thoughts from listening to the speech.

The President put the Senate on BLAST, says The House is passing bills but the Senate needs to get busy.

When The President said that he was going to prop up community banks to provide support for small businesses, I immediately filled out a loan application.

Justice Ginsburg looks like she is about to croak.

The ceremony and protocol of an event like this is fascinating.

I’m sure that other countries tune in to our State of the Union Address, why don’t we ever hear about other countries State of their Union Address?

Why do members of this Congress continue to heckle the President during a joint session.

Those Military dudes didn’t look too happy about the vow to repeal “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.”

The President has a good career in stand-up comedy if this whole leading the free world thing doesn’t work out.

Wouldn’t it be funny if the President stole The Rock’s line during this address and said “Do you smell what Barack is…Cooking?”

Isn’t if funny how Pundits on both sides talk crap about the President before a big speech but afterwards they all have a warm feeling going up their leg?

Isn’t it cool how you receive an e-mail message from the President after the speech as if he ran straight to his computer and sent it himself.

Who is this dude giving the Republican response?
